HS motor has completed trial production of the comprehensive renovation and induction of the gear box automatic production line on Nov. 28th, 2016, which marks the successful beginning of the production line optimization. In accordance with the requirements of lean production, HS Equipment department adjusted and transformed the layout of the production line and equipment with scientific plan, making the layout become more compact and reasonable. The new production line fully reflects the requirements of lean production — the working environment is neat, clean, bright and comfortable.
Division of labor to be Specialized
The online operation staff should not only be familiar with the production, but also know more about the basic knowledge of equipment debugging and maintenance. The product quality has a direct relationship with the quality and turnover of the staff. After optimization of the production line, operators only need to follow the requirements of the process and just to take and put the parts. Lots of the work to judge the quality are belong to the equipment to complete, reducing the probability of the Human errors and strengthening the online quality control, effectively improving the quality stability of products online.
Overall optimization of production line layout
HS takes full advantages of the concept of automation equipment and human ergonomics and matches the ability of the equipment and personnel to reasonably adjust the number of the equipment and the load of the personnel, as far as possible to reduce waste. After the implementation of lean production project, the number of employees was reduced from 21 to 12; the per capita output per hour was increased from 13 to 21; and the production area was reduced from 74.5 sq.m to 36.4 sq.m. The production efficiency had been enhanced and the production site is also be effectively used.
